Maui Map.

No Ka Oi

"Maui No Ka Oi" is Hawaiian for "Maui is the best". And the Valley Isle of Maui will surely hold a special place in your heart. The second largest Hawaiian island, Maui is dominated by Haleakala Volcano. Haleakala means "House of the Sun" and those who have risen in the dark to drive up over 10,000 feet to the top to watch the sun rise can appreciate this spectacular meaning. (If you go, wear warm clothes - it's cold at 10,000 feet!) After the sun rises, hike Haleakala trails, search for the rare silversword plant that grows only on Maui and the Big Island, or ride a bike down the volcano.

Maui is excellent for whale watching during the months of November through March. The historic whaling port of Lahaina is a great place to explore, have fun, and start your whale watching. During the season, thousands of humpback whales winter in the 'Au'au Channel between Lahaina and the island of Lanai.

The resorts of Ka'anapali boast beautiful beaches, popular snorkeling spots, and a fabulous beach walk that runs along the resorts on Ka'anapali Beach. With awesome sunsets and views of Molokai and Lanai islands, you'll love the Ka'anapali area.

"Heavenly Hana" sits on the lush, tropical side of Maui. Drive the world famous "Road to Hana" and experience over 600 twists and turns in a little over 50 miles. There are 56 bridges and numerous waterfalls along the road with stunning vistas around almost every turn. At Hana, explore the sea caves formed from ancient lava tubes. Search out the black sand and red sand beaches near Hana.

Whether you are looking for an exciting vacation with awesome water sports, hiking, biking, and more or a relaxing time soaking up the ambience of old Hawaii, Maui truly is No Ka Oi. Choose your accomodations from our popular location on Maui:
